Jamaicanize makes it easy to translate English to Jamaican Patois(patwa,patwah). We believe that the Jamaican Patois language is beautiful and we want to help you learn it one word at a time.
Its super simple and easy to use. Were constantly adding new words and improving the Patois(Patwa) translations.
Note: Jamaican Patois is not the official language of Jamaica. Therefore, some words will not have any Jamaican Translation.

I just bought this app. Its a complete joke. It doesnt even translate the most simple phrases. Dont waste your money.

Too basic, no editing, patois not deep enough.
Thank you for no embedded advertising. But I am sorry this app does not have auto correct when typing english, cant do portrait keyboard, and if you accidentally go back to the home screen, it completely erases the text you had typed and you have to start over. Having been going to Jamaica for years (just got back yesterday from my 16th trip), this needs a lot of work. Its all about the vocabulary, mon! And the ability to interpret multiple meanings! When I type in english, it gives me mostly english back. Needs to go deeper. Keep working on it, and maybe it will be a good app soon. The other couple apps on the app store are a bit more user friendly, and seem to have deeper language capability. Dont give up. Duppy know who fi frighten! Respect.
